Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Cost Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to In this role you will get to interface with some of the largest programs in the region .

The Cost Manager will be responsible for exercising a qualified level of cost management including cost planning, controlling and reporting proficiency.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of reports to accurately reflect current budgets, invoices and committed costs; projected-to-go or cost-to-complete estimates; budget variances; cash flow projections; and schedule of values for individual projects.

• Provide trending information to assist in forecasting potential problems with cost and time.

• Manage work breakdown structures and revisions.

• Coordinate conceptual estimates for various design and construction estimates to provide program budgets.

• Development and maintenance of automated program cost database.

• Perform work in a safe manner and actively encourage others to comply with safety rules and regulations.

• Provide, annually, a fiscal budget and past period cost performance report.

• Provide, monthly, a consolidated program cost performance report.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field, RICS Qualification preferred

• At least ten years related experience

• Previous experience in a PMO setup

• Experience working across a project portfolio

• Excellent interpersonal skills, possessing strong written and oral communication skills

• Experience in estimating, bidding and job cost preparation

• Experience in change order review / negotiations process

• Experience Developing budgets and estimates from feasibility stage through to Detail design completion

• Experience developing and maintaining cost plans and cash flow forecasts

• Cost and value analysis including cost risk analysis and providing recommendations to the client.
