Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Stakeholder Manager. In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with external stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers, partners, community organizations, and government agencies. The External Stakeholder Manager works closely with internal teams to address stakeholder needs and concerns, while also promoting the organization's interests and objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify and prioritize external stakeholders relevant to the organization's operations and goals.

  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and plans to foster positive relationships.

  • Establish and maintain regular communication channels with stakeholders, including meetings, workshops, and other forums.

  • Act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders, responding to inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  • Gather feedback from stakeholders and relay it to the appropriate internal teams for consideration and action.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stakeholder requirements are incorporated into business strategies, projects, and decision-making processes. Monitor and analyze external stakeholder trends, needs, and expectations to anticipate potential issues and opportunities.

  • Advocate for the organization's interests and objectives to external stakeholders, promoting understanding and cooperation.

  • Coordinate and support community engagement initiatives, corporate social responsibility activities, and partnerships with external organizations.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices related to stakeholder management

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 10 years of post-graduate and demonstrable experience, out of which 7 must have dealt with design reviews, utilities clash analysis, construction supervision and interface management of similar large scale civil construction projects with stakeholders, local government agencies, organizations, departments on large infrastructure construction projects etc.

  • Demonstrable previous experience in establishing communication protocols to inform Stakeholders of Programme and Project related activities

  • This position will require close coordination, alignment, and communication among the delivering entities and key stakeholders.

  • Previous experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders and awareness of handover processes. This includes but is not limited to clients and end users.

  • Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.

  • Computer skills are mandatory.
