Facilities Management Director

Essential Functions will include, but not be limited to the following:
Play leadership role in the development and implementation of strategic asset management program in support of the client strategic vision, goals & objectives
Engage with identifying and documenting necessary policies and procedures for the asset management program (asset on boarding, warranty management, asset criticalities, naming conventions, hierarchies etc.)
Develop meaningful SLAs and KPIs which are fair towards all parties
Develop a set of comprehensive operations plans and methodologies which ensure service is maintained.
Coordinating and assessing the implementation of the maintenance consultancy/audit process, according to the established plan
Whenever applicable, recommend multifarious investments in the maintenance area;
Consolidation of equipment's maintenance data during project completion to permit the creation of a Preventative Maintenance Plan System.
Develop a training matrix and ensure that qualifications and training records are accurate
Provide technical support to the client and ensure parity in service delivery across the facilities
Contractor management of outsourced services including Specialist hard services, fire systems, lifts, Building Management system BMS, hygiene and waste management
Develop and manage project plans to ensure expectations met and key deliverables are delivered on time and within budget
Complete periodic performance reports on time
Develop Business continuity plans which support the clients activities
Liaise with the Client to ensure the works on site are carried out within defined parameters and to the users satisfaction.
Participate in regular management meetings to keep team informed of asset management program, address risk and barrier
Liaise with client management teams on a regular basis to identify and implement process improvement initiatives
Evaluate, recommend and monitor the implementation of Facility Management Software

Education
Educated to degree level in a relevant building discipline (preferably a MEP discipline)
Hold certification of facility management from reputable institute (Preferred).
Experience
A minimum of 10 - 15 years in an FM environment
Previous experience in a consultancy role
Experience in transition and commissioning
Skills
Able to produce written guidelines and standards
Understands maintenance and hospital safety procedures
Strong report writing skills
Dynamic and highly motivated and a strong team player
Customer focused, sound commercial and financial awareness
Ability to research and interpret industry best practice to suit business requirements
Able to translate client requirements into a technical specification
Knowable in Building Codes and Health and Safety Standards
