Job Description:
Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Specialist to join our team!
In this role, you will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a mixture of world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, contemporary residences, and a monorail in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living.
What You'll Be Doing:
Assists the HSE Manager with administering the SH&E programs.
Audits the project or program and its worksites against corporate standards.
Inspects worksites to detect hazards; provides expertise to project personnel to eliminate/control the SH&E risks associated with exposure to the hazards.
Creates and submits written audit and inspection reports.
Monitors project or program work planning and performance; verifies that planning and work performance conform to Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system.
Implements Parsons’ occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes.
Performs trends analyses on audit findings, inspection findings, and incident reports; creates and submits regular analysis reports.
Assists with new hire orientation.
Performs regulatory and best practice SH&E training.
Creates and maintains SH&E training records.
Participates in routine safe work briefings.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Working knowledge of GCC/KSA SH&E regulations and reporting procedures
Working knowledge of safety-related GCC/national consensus standards (e.g., ANSI, NFPA)
Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
