Job Description:

Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented HSE Specialist to join our team!

In this role, you will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a mixture of world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, contemporary residences, and a monorail in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assists the HSE Manager with administering the SH&E programs.

  • Audits the project or program and its worksites against corporate standards.

  • Inspects worksites to detect hazards; provides expertise to project personnel to eliminate/control the SH&E risks associated with exposure to the hazards.

  • Creates and submits written audit and inspection reports.

  • Monitors project or program work planning and performance; verifies that planning and work performance conform to Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) management system.

  • Implements Parsons’ occupational injury and incident reporting and management processes.

  • Performs trends analyses on audit findings, inspection findings, and incident reports; creates and submits regular analysis reports.

  • Assists with new hire orientation.

  • Performs regulatory and best practice SH&E training.

  • Creates and maintains SH&E training records.

  • Participates in routine safe work briefings.

  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Working knowledge of GCC/KSA SH&E regulations and reporting procedures

  • Working knowledge of safety-related GCC/national consensus standards (e.g., ANSI, NFPA)

  • Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
