Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to be part of the team to manage a significant railway project in Riyadh.
What You'll Be Doing:
Responsible to review and have oversight of all technical and engineering activities as part of the construction of the project.
Be involved with other consultants in monitoring the contractors progress on all technical and engineering issues
Engage in design and build changes for the project and ensure all issues are adequatelt addresses
Provide
Observe and be involved with other consultants in monitoring the contractors progress on schedule and report back to the project team
Observe and be involved with other consultants in monitoring the contractors progress on adherence to scope, contract, standards & codes and best practice. Report all issues to the project team.
Coordination with the site team (including consultants) to ascertain progress to ensure compliance with requirements and the agreed schedule
Actively work with the HSE teams to ensure safety requirements are adhered to
Maintaining a professional working relationship with all project stakeholders from clients to consultants to contractors to others.
Assist with inspection of completed works, prepare sang lists and handover to operating authority.
Provide support as required to the other PMCM project teams such as commercial, project controls, HSE in the delivery of the work.
Monitors the quality and progress of the work from the contractors/consultants for the project, ensuring that production and progress requirements are satisfied.
Works closely with Project Managers to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to discipline staff, quality of work, schedule performance, or productivity.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Minimum 10 years demonstrable experience including 5 years minimum rail experience
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field as a minimum
Be a member of an appropriate engineering or professional institution
Must have knowledge of how railways are planned, design, constructed and commissioned
Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required
