About the role: As a Lead Recruiter you will be responsible for collaborating with senior management and supporting the recruiting efforts across multiple programs. This is a broad, hands-on role, requiring a passion for recruitment, social media and most importantly outstanding networking and organizational skills. This will be achieved through the development of a Saudization staffing plan, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Lead Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.
Oversee all projects under your remit, ensuring there is continuity and compliance with Saudization recruitment and a strategy to deliver on time and with top talent. Working closely with Senior Level decision makers across the business, ensuring you are able to think out of the box and develop solutions for any local recruitment issues. This will involve asking seeking questions and challenging management on key decisions to ensure they follow the recruitment process. Ensuring candidates are qualified against a set criteria. The competence of candidates to be measured against the brief provided by the hiring manager. Ensure credibility is maintained through effective feedback. This is to be tracked using the TMS whereby all candidates are provided feedback, including those not being considered by directing them to Parsons’s website. Develop and maintain Saudization programs through careers fairs, university days and building talent pools. Negotiate and present offers and close selected candidate. Successfully liaise with mobilization and HR team to ensure the successful onboarding of the candidate. Have the ability to source Technically hard skill sets through a variety of methods: Head hunting, social media, referral centric sourcing strategies, professional networking, search & selection, behavioral interviewing. In addition to this continuously provide new solutions and ideas for sourcing new methods to attract talent. This can be through new job boards, seeking and attending relevant conferences, building up talent pools.
Working closely with Senior Level Internal Hiring managers across the business, ensuring you are able to successfully take in a brief and articulate with Management from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. This will involve asking seeking questions and challenging management on key decisions to ensure this adheres to the recruitment process. In addition to this driving forward new ideas which can help to streamline processes which help speed up the recruitment.
To carry out these tasks successfully you will require the following skillset:
Market knowledge – Ability to understand the construction industry in Saudi Arabia, identifying competitors, pay rates and to keep abreast of recruitment trends across the local market. Confidence – In your ability and knowledge as a recruiter, if you feel the recruitment process in not being followed then challenge it, to all levels within the business. Demonstrate strong verbal communication skills, influencing, negotiating and collaborating with all decision makers within the business.
Maturity –Technical knowledge, confidence, and maturity must be displayed. Inquisitiveness – Being able to ask seeking questions to all levels of the business both internally to hiring managers and externally to candidates.
Relationship Building – This is imperative in our role, relationships need to developed with both hiring managers and potential candidates. Having the intuition to know when you are being led astray by a candidate is a strength of a solid recruiter. Also the ability to articulate conversations with senior level/ VP management and learn to work in partnership with them rather than having a directive relationship
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum of 8 years Recruitment experience.
Experience in achieving recruitment success for Saudization programs
Passionate and dedicated recruiter who enjoys working in a challenging environment.
Industry knowledge in Construction/ Engineering
