Job Description:
Position Summary
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented People Director to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with high-level department managers in their quest to
identify the very best talent in engineering and construction. The role will require someone with knowledge of the construction and Engineering industry in the MEA region.
Responsibilities
Demonstrated ability to source, and prescreen, high caliber staff
Responsible for retention, reward, recognition, benefits, performance management, employee health and wellbeing
Successfully delivered KPIs around welfare, Team Culture, and work-life issues. This assignment will have its fair share of stress along the way.
Managed country-specific obligations to engage local staff and develop talent, including identification and need for staff training initiatives
Maintained high levels of satisfaction amongst employees and minimizing churn on the program – the quantum of opportunities and benefits in the ME is s significant market factor.
Demonstrated experience with working in a multi-cultural environment and conflict/dispute resolution/reprimand issues
Ensure employee engagement, relations and internal communications
Accurate and timely collection and analysis of People metrics and data to inform decision making
Coach managers to create and maintain a positive working environment with high morale, engagement and productivity for all
Work collaboratively to ensure that organizational change and development programs that meet the needs and are delivered in an effective manner
Deliver an efficient recruitment, selection and onboarding service to the project
Launch and manage our new people information system for managers and the wider workforce
Manage the administration processes for the People department Internal Communications
What Required Skills You'll Bring
Minimum 15 years’ Recruitment experience, with a proven track record in employee relations and recruiting in/for the Civil Engineering/Construction Industry
Prior supervisory, team lead, or management experience is highly preferred, with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team of experienced professionals
Top-class client and stakeholder management skills, ability to influence, a compelling communicator you should be able to effectively engage with senior leadership and articulate in a professional manner.
Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to operate effectively under ever-changing Program conditions
Bachelor’s Degree and/or relevant professional certifications are preferable but not essential
