Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Permit Manager
Research and understand applicable laws, regulations, and permitting requirements related to the organization's operations.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the permit acquisition process for various types of permits and licenses. Identify and assess the permits and licenses required for the organization's activities, projects, and facilities.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather and compile the necessary information and documentation for permit applications.
Prepare and submit permit applications to the appropriate government agencies, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Track the status of permit applications, follow up with agencies as needed, and escalate any issues or delays.
Maintain a database or record system to track and manage permits, including renewal dates and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with regulatory agencies, consultants, and legal counsel to address any compliance concerns or permit-related issues. Provide guidance and support to internal teams on permit requirements, processes, and timelines. Stay updated on changes in regulations and permit requirements, and communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders.
