Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Procurement Director - Strategy to join our team! In this role you will support the Procurement Unit across all procurement related engagements and responsibility for execution of tasks and assignments. You will provide subject matter expertise on procurement matters and in the execution of assignments and initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Acting as a subject matter expert on procurement related activities and tasks

• Provision of guidance and expertise on procurement matters

• Reviewing and provision of guidance on procurement documentation (Policy, Processes, Procedures, RFP’s, RFI’s etc.)

• Actively engaged in the development of “Best Practice” guidance documentation

• Reviewing procurement components and provision of comments and guidance on various development company and project presentations and materials

• Reviews work performed by team members to ensure compliance and alignment with best practices and PIF requirements

• Participates in meetings, workshops and engagements relating to procurement topics

• Promotes technical excellence and best practices across all engagements.

• Supporting the team on across a range of activities and engagements

• Provides training and development to team members

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be required.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, Economics or related field

• 20+ years of relevant work experience, including experience in a lead capacity.

• Experience in the GCC and international real estate and construction sector

• PMC experience is essential

• Previous PIF/DevCo experience desirable

• Experience of Tender Committees and the necessary processes

• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• CIPS or equivalent certification preferred.
