We are currently looking for a highly motivated and strongly driven business development professional to join our Critical Infrastructure Protection team as a Business Development Specialist for defense and critical infrastructure protection projects. The ideal candidate will have experience and expertise in definition and delivery of defense solutions and services and able to identify, validate and mature security related opportunities for growth and capture in KSA.

The objective is to work closely with our local Saudi Parsons (SAPL) team in country and cross Federal business staff to meet our CIP sales objectives in country by targeting defense and security jobs with a focus on CIP and military end user markets. The position will require development of relationships with indigenous potential partners in the country.

Based in Riyadh, the position will only suit a focused and strong sales and business development individual who can assist with positioning for large CIP security and defense jobs and can be a team-player to work closely with all Parsons teams in country and across the region.

The position will require travel within KSA.

Responsibilities

The position will required interface with customers in coordination and collaboration with SAPL team and Federal team to understand their needs, requirements and urgency for specific opportunities:

  • Assist management of a portfolio of CriticalInfrastructure Protection (CIP) accounts for well-predefined focusedindustry verticals

  • Proposeand help craft business development strategies for KSA. Advise managementon ways to monitor and improve BD activities in country

  • Collaborate with local business SAPL Sales teams and Federalteam to target identified CIP programs and opportunities and drive themtowardsclosure

  • Partnerwith lead partners and capture managers to influence requirements tosupport discriminating services and sustainment solutions

  • Act as specifier to drive specs in tenders, engage withconsultants and contractors to create and shape opportunities

  • Map CIP defense vertical industry, end users,consultants and contractors across the kingdom

  • Ensurecoordinated sales activities on strategic pursuits within Parsons team

  • Identify channels,alliances andpartnerships to grow CIP, defense Business

  • Provideaccurate and timely forecasts of orders and growth opportunities

  • Beable to report weekly performance to the leadership of specific accountsand opportunities

  • Supportand align to bidding Processes: identified sales opportunities; ensureapproved sales processes are followed and company procedures and systemsare effectively deployed in the geographic area

  • Earlyengagement to influence tech selections and compliance

  • Theability to travel through the country as the business and opportunitiesdemand, occasionally at short notice.

Qualifications Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of CIP technical experience anddefense business development

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships

  • Establish credibility and respect for self and Parsons internally and externally

  • Effective communicator to internal external resources and customers

  • English Native Arabic language proficiency

  • Preferred expertise in building successful sales pipeline and generating growth in the field of Critical Infrastructure Protections, or defense

  • Capable of balancing short-term results with long term strategy

  • Execute effective negotiation strategies and plans

  • Technical background preferred with hands-on experience in integrated systems is desired

  • Saudi Citizen preferred, but Saudi Cultural experience is a must

  • Ability to obtain a locally based security clearance is desired.
