TheProject Manager will be working within a project management office at client office and he shall perform all the necessary duties required by the client within the scope specified by the contract. He will have the responsibility to monitor a massive number of projects within certain region with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project manager will havethe following major duties in minimum:
Analyseprojectsstatus and prepare reports highlighting all the potentialrisk and issues facing the project and suitable solutions.
Prepare weekly andmonthly update on the project’s status to the senior management of theclient.
Assist the clientin preparing the RFPs and contract documents.
Frequent sitevisit to the regions to check the status of the projects and preparedetailed visit reports. Monitor the required actions.
Organise and leadmeeting with the consultant and contractors in head office or within theregion to discuss issue affecting the progress of the projects;
Ensure the properapproval of the baseline schedule for all the projects.
Prepare regularHigh-quality presentations for the senior managements of client related tothe project and any other issues as required.
Advise the clienton any issues such as contractor’s claims, likely to affect the financialresources, or the scope of work;
Assist in thereview of the requested budget for future projects and the sectorstrategic plans
Ensure that allproject management tools and procedures are implemented in the managementof all the projects.
Perform trainingsessions for the client’s project managers, engineers, consultants andcontractor related to the implementation of the professional managementtools and procedures.
Conduct continuousaudit on all the projects to ensure quality procedures are implemented andrecorded.
The ProjectManager should have a university degree in civil engineering or otherequivalent engineering discipline, fluency in both written and spokenArabic and English.
He shall haveexcellent report writing skills as well as excellent presentations.
The expertshould have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in themanagement, supervision, planning of water and wastewater projects.
The last five(5) years of his experience shall be with large international consultant.
