The Project Manager will be working within a project management office at client office and he shall perform all the necessary duties required by the client within the scope specified by the contract. He will have the responsibility to monitor a massive number of projects within certain region with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project manager will have the following major duties in minimum:
Analyseprojectsstatusand prepare reports highlighting all the potential risk and issues facingthe project and suitable solutions.
Prepareweekly and monthly update on the project’s status to the senior managementof the client.
Assistthe client in preparing the RFPs and contract documents.
Frequentsite visit to the regions to check the status of the projects and preparedetailed visit reports. Monitor the required actions.
Organise and lead meeting with the consultant and contractors inhead office or within the region to discuss issue affecting the progress of theprojects;
Ensure the proper approval of the baseline schedule for all theprojects.
Prepare regular High-quality presentations for the seniormanagements of client related to the project and any other issues as required.
Advise the client on any issues such as contractor’s claims,likely to affect the financial resources, or the scope of work;
Assist in the review of the requested budget for future projectsand the sector strategic plans
Ensure that all project management tools and procedures areimplemented in the management of all the projects.
Perform training sessions for the client’s project managers,engineers, consultants and contractor related to the implementation of theprofessional management tools and procedures.
Conduct continuous audit on all the projects to ensure qualityprocedures are implemented and recorded.
The Project Manager should have a university degree in civil engineering or other equivalent engineering discipline, fluency in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
Preferably, PMP qualified.
He shall have excellent report writing skills as well as excellent presentations.
The expert should have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the management, supervision, planning of water and wastewater projects.
The last five (5) years of his experience shall be with large international consultant.
