Parsons Corporation Senior Project Control Engineer in San Bernardino, California

Do you want to be part of a great team working on some of the world's greatest engineering and construction projects with the latest software? Parsons is currently seeking a Sr. Project Control Specialist to contribute expertise in project controls and earned value management.
Location: On-site, but we're COVID friendly and have flexible schedules with teleworking 1 to 2 days during the week to facilitate social distancing. We will also work with COVID impacted folks on a case by case if needed.
Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems.
Assesses the impact(s) of design or construction changes.
Understands and applies engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships.
Customizes project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
Accumulates historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting.
Provides input to Sr. Project Control Staff regarding staffing requirements.
Client Cost Analysis.
Reconciliation of projects and systems (Eden and Ecosys).
Funding agreements and analysis.
Forms in Minute track such as RFPs and IFPs.
Federal and state closeouts.
Document controls experience.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of related work experience.
Experience with PRISM, Eden, or Ecosys is plus.
Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.
Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite.
