Parsons Corporation Lead Electrician in San Juan, Puerto Rico

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Lead Electrician to run remote job site work to install conduit wire, smart meters, CTs (current transformer), PTs (potential transformer), and network switches. The perfect candidate will also pull and terminate communication cables and conduct electrical outages. This position supports military installations around the United States and Puerto Rico.


  • 8+ years of electronics or electrician experience in a commercial or construction environment

  • 5+ years of safety experience

  • Journeyman License / Certification (in any state)

  • Must be willing to travel 100% throughout the United States and its territories

  • Valid driver license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check required

  • Ability to obtain / maintain access to base

  • US Citizenship required


  • OSHA 10 or 30 preferred

  • Army CQM (Construction Quality Management)

  • NFPA 70E (standard electrical safety certification)

  • Familiarity with JACE (Java Application Control Engine)

  • Smart Metering experience

  • Network Installation experience

  • Communications experience

  • BICSI Certification


  • Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds

  • Pull, stand, and work in confined spaces; crouch for long periods of time; and work under inclement cold weather conditions
