POSITION OVERVIEW :

Are you a seasoned professional in the field of U.S. Army joint and multinational training? If so, Parsons is currently seeking someone like you for an exciting opportunity in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii!

  • The successful candidate will have experience withtraining aids, devices, simulations, and simulators (TADSS) maintenance and operations in the conduct of Army instrumented combat training. Serves to synchronize instrumentation system support of Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Capability (JPMRC) exercises. The employee shall provide supervisory maintenance and operations in support of Instrumentation Training Analysis and Computer Simulations Support (ITACSS) Directorate of JPMRC.

  • Serves as the point of contact andexecutes delegated levels of authority in carrying out the assignments.

  • Coordinates with JPMRC, Army installation training support organizations, and material developers to maintain and operate the JPMRC Instrumentation System and support training exercises.

  • Attends conferences, workgroups and meetings to assist the Government with planning, coordination, and execution of JPMRC exercises. Develops, documents, and maintains a plan for preventative maintenance services and trouble shooting procedures.

  • Sets up, tests and operates the JPMRC-IS for CONUS and OCONUS exercises. Provides reports and briefings.

  • Proficiency in the organization, operations, regulations, policies and procedures of the military client

  • Proficiency in oral and written communicative skills.

  • A clear understanding and experience preparing military correspondence, staff documents, etc. commensurate with senior officer command level organizations; e.g. correspondence in accordance with DoD 5110.4-M, or Army Regulation 25-50, Preparing and Managing Correspondence

  • Meet the physical demand rating for the position (e.g., able to lift 50 lbs, physically navigate on foot through military training lands.

  • Proficiency in the organization, operations, regulations, policies and procedures of the military client

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE :

  • 4-year degree from an accredited college and 2-5-years of experience in a field which provides the proposed candidate with the knowledge to perform Combat Training Center (CTC) Instrumentation System maintenance and operations tasks.

  • Proficiency in managing the maintenance and operation of computer information systems, military shelters, generators, HVAC, radio transmission towers, and material handling equipment.

  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
