Job Description:

The Power Systems Technician supervises, operates, installs and maintains electric power plants and associated auxiliary systems and equipment. This position supports power requirements of the Life Cycle Contractor Support for the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Capability Instrumentation System (JPMRC-IS) program under the Army TADSS Maintenance Program (ATMP) at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. JPMRC-IS operations support the Army s USARPAC mission: to provide realistic joint and combined arms training focused on developing soldiers, leaders, and units of the United States military for success on the 21st century battlefield. This experience includes capabilities of many of the world's best systems integration and engineering in the technical integration of live, virtual and constructive (LVC) training support.

This is a casual position and requires travel to Hawaii, Alaska, Washington, Philippines, etc...

Education/Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • At least 4 years of experience dealing with electrical equipment, including the methods, tools and materials used in the operation, maintenance and repair of Power Generation equipment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and manufacturer diagrams and manuals

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license and Post driving privileges

  • Able to obtain US passport

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs

  • Must posses Active Secret Security Clearance
