Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Engineer Intermediate (Mission Engineer) to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Missile Defense Agency's Wargames and Exercises Directorate in the design, testing, and execution of Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) wargames and exercises.
What You'll Be Doing:
Performsalleventintegrationbaseduponrequirementsfromthe Mission Director and EventLead. Support development/integration of the blueforcelaydown, voiceand data communications, specificoperational versions or capabilities.
Drafts and publishes thenetworkarchitecturaldrawingsandtestplansto ensuretheEventarchitecture meets the requirements defined by the Combatant Command and MDA SMEs. Translates customer requirements into architecture capabilities.
Functionaldirectorofintegrationactivitiesdefinedwithinthetestplan.
Assistmodelingandsimulationdevelopmentteamsinthedesignandimplementationof modelbehaviorswithinthesimulationarchitecture.WorkproductsincludeSV-1,SV-2, Communications diagrams, floor plans, rack elevations, test plans, event reports and problem reports.
Coordinatestheresultsoftesting;obtainsassistanceidentifyingnewrequirements, problems, and fixes for simulations as a result of the analysis/testing from Chief Engineer.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Abachelor'sdegreeplus 4 yearsofrecentspecializedexperience (an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree)
Eligibility to obtain at least a Secret clearance within a reasonable period of time
Current Passport. Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time
Experience working in a fast paced, professional environment with the ability to adjust/react to short notice requirements
What Preferred Skills You'll Bring:
- Experience with MDASim, EADSIM, Linux OS, PiNT, Operational System Framework (OSF), Open Systems Architecture Sensor Models (OSM) is highly preferred but not required

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
