Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an Senior C2BMC Systems Engineer supporting Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Space Programs in Colorado Springs, Colorado . In this role you'll work alongside Parsons colleagues and the Missile Defense Agency to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of Missile Defense Space Warning capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. Your customer will trust you to not only test, analyze, evaluate, validate, and verify these systems, but also identify areas requiring urgent mitigation up front and early to develop this system with advanced technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

Candidate will provide space systems engineering and contract support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Space Sensors (SS) Directorate Duties will include:

  • Contractor oversight

  • Technical analysis and assessment

  • Program management and programmatic support to the MDA Customer in an Analysis and Advisory Services (A&AS) capacity

Required Skills:

  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance and ability to maintain one

  • Masters Degree with 12+ years of experience working on Missile Defense related or other complex Department of Defense programs/projects

  • 12+ years of experience overseeing program security and administration (program access requests)

  • 12+ years of experience working on a space-related (space, ground, software, hardware system) Major Defense Acquisition Program

  • Ability to perform multiple security and program managementfunctions in support of general program support and process development

  • Experience with the development of security processes, configuration management, document control, and oversight of programmatic plans and schedules

Desired Skills:

  • Experience and/or understanding of the Missile Defense System (MDS) elements and overall architecture

  • General understanding of Missile Defense Agency (MDA) processes and policies

  • Specific areas of knowledge on Special Access Program security

  • Ability to identify, analyze, resolve technical risks and issues, develop technical reports, and collaborate with government and other stakeholders to implement recommended solutions

  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Highly motivated and dynamic work ethic with a strong desire to contribute to the DoD mission

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Salary Range:

$113,100.00 - $203,600.00
