Parsons Corporation Systems Engineer in Schriever AFB, Colorado
Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
Parsons is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the C3BM engineering efforts, to include providing comprehensive analysis to support the Program and the Missile Defense Agency Leadership. This will also include data configuration tasks to support the BC System Test Analysis Team (BSTAT), writing code to assist in tool development/maintenance and administrative activities to support the team. The BSTAT combined efforts verify processes and products are consistent with Missile Defense System (MDS) capabilities and to verify that the MDS C2BMC development activities and fielded assets are meeting Warfighter expectations.
Data Configuration: Ability to write code to support different tasks needed by the team. Able to move data to certain spots on the analysis system to be available for the team to provide their analysis results for leadership
Able to execute instructions in terminal shells/command lines
Executing 'unique' software programs with a variety of different user interfaces
Event independent responsibilities: Define associated analysis tool requirements and support tool development as required to include writing code, providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to any tool development done
Assist in administrative activities: Provide support to the team in coordination of meetings and being able to schedule those meetings through e-scheduler. Able to provide meeting minutes when desirable and provide those summaries to MDA leadership. Must be knowledgeable of team activities and able to represent the team with flowing dialogue and specific information to address any type of task
Bachelor of Science (STEM)
7+ years experience in related field
Fluent in MATLAB, Python, Java, or Linux
Experience analyzing performance of systems to include parsing data, assessing performance through analysis of large data sets and writing MATLAB and/or Python code as required to generate analysis products (python acceptable in place of MATLAB)
Ability to work independently within a highly secure and windowless environment
Maintains the capability to develop and present reports and presentations to senior management-level personnel, and works within a collaborative environment composed of Government, Prime Contractor, Sub-Contractor and Supporting Contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment
Current DOD Secret Security Clearance required
- Proficiency in military analysis and operations and familiarity with MDA/Government engineering processes/databases
This position pays a minimum annual salary of $79,100.00 and a maximum annual salary of $138,400.00.
