The Source Foundation GEOINT Group/Office of the Chief of Staff requires the services of a Functional Specialist/Advisor who can provide technical and functional subject matter expertise (SME) in identifying, developing, and implementing essential Infrastructure/Space and Information Technology (IT) management capabilities. This position will support the Intelligence Community (IC) and utilize policy and procedures for IT Infrastructure facilities management. This SME functional specialist will be required to provide technical and functional expertise to ensure Source/NGA plans, policies, and procedures, are effective and efficient and that the Source programs are logical, sound, well-founded, and consistent with the plans, policies, and directives from NGA, oversight and other appropriate organizations.
Operations in Infrastructure/Space Information Technology Management at the Group level of management.
Manage all Source Foundation (SF) Group workspace and bar-coded equipment at NCE and NCW.
Coordinate all SF Group space and equipment decisions with the SF Space Lead.
Identify Group software license utilization, especially against software bills.
Monitor and maintain a list of SF software assigned to SF personnel.
Strategic planning, plans, policy and guidance and functional matter expertise to ensure coherent Infrastructure management policies and procedures.
Input for weekly progress report.
Input for monthly progress report.
Project Concept Plans.
Meeting minutes, as required.
Technical standard operational procedure document.
Trip reports, as required, if travel is performed.
Issues memoranda, briefings, design documents, as required.
Senior management review evaluations and recommendations, as requested.
Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of related professional experience. An advanced degree may be preferred at this level. Non-degreed incumbents must meet equivalency guidelines established for designated job family.
Must currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance and be able to obtain a polygraph-level clearance after hire.
Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
