Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Professional Facilitator - Visioneering, to join our team! The Visioneering Team is looking for a Facilitator who will deliver world-class visualization services and meaningful customer experiences. Visioneering® was established to integrate visual thinking and graphic facilitation with differentiated client service delivery. Our Visioneers foster collaboration and communication, spark innovation, and support the development and maturation of high performing teams.

What You'll Be Doing:

Our in-person and virtual services and capabilities include:

  • Graphic Facilitation

  • Graphic Recording

  • Strategic Visualization (such as roadmaps and placemats)

  • Design Thinking workshops and consulting

  • Entrepreneurial Thinking workshops and consulting

  • Animated action sketch videos

  • Digital Illustration

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • High School diploma or higher

  • Active Top Secret (of higher) clearance

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Facilitator.

  • Facilitation: performing ‘customer discovery’ to uncover organizational needs and designing experiences to achieve desired outcomes. Experience with virtually-based facilitation tools such as Mural or Miro, as well as communication platforms such as Zoom, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams.

  • Presence – engage clients and audiences with professionalism, confidence, and emotional intelligence every time.

  • Consulting – apply your experience with people, process, technology, and strategy concepts to your work.

  • Tools of the Trade – effectively use technology solutions to deliver client services (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite [Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro], Procreate, VideoScribe). Effectively use markers, paper, flip charts, and ink in the creation of artifacts and deliverables.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Active TS/SCI with ability to upgrade to Poly

  • Graphic Facilitation – perform the discovery, design, delivery, and post-event processing of visually-based group processes.

  • Graphic Recording / Hand-Drawn Illustration – Listen, synthesize, and generate illustrations (lettering and images) in real time to reflect presentations and discussions. Create large-scale graphic recording or smaller-scale sketchnotes (paper and digital). Digitize work products as client deliverables.

  • Strategic Communication – apply your experience with Strategic Communication design, development, and delivery to your visually-based work. Align the purpose of visually-based work products to strategic goals.

  • Storyboarding – use sketches and visuals to support the development, design, and delivery of story-based communication artifacts (e.g., animated sketch videos, presentations)

  • Design Thinking – know and apply visually-based Design Thinking tools and techniques (e.g., LUMA Institute) to develop empathy for people, understand challenges, and design and test possible solutions.

  • Entrepreneurial Thinking – know and apply visually-based tools and techniques to develop business canvases, stakeholder maps, empathy maps, experience diagrams, contextual testing plans, and customer journey maps.

  • Training – sometimes we receive requests to develop training programs on topics such as problem-solving, collaborative thinking, and communication methods. If you have no-kidding instructional design and delivery experience – awesome. We’d love to hear about this, too!

Salary Range:

$100,400.00 - $175,700.00
