Job Description:

Polygraph Examiner shall conduct, on a polygraph exams NCE, NCW, and other designated locations. Conduct and administer polygraph examinations. Prepare, submit, and maintain clear comprehensive concise and accurate polygraph charts and test results according to Federal regulations.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Conduct and administer polygraph examinations. Prepare, submit and maintain clear comprehensive concise and accurate polygraph charts and test results according to Federal regulations. Assist in execution of polygraph program in accordance with Department of Defense and Intelligence Community Policies and regulations. Assist in the education and briefing of the polygraph program capabilities to the customer population.

  • Conduct polygraph examinations Counterintelligence (CI) Scope Polygraph (CSP) or Expanded Scope Screening (ESS) in accordance with National Credibility Center for Assessments (NCCA) standards.

  • Adhere to the Quality Control Examiner’s (QCE) guidance during a test.

  • Accurately document the results and admissions of each test as required by regulations and customer policies.

  • Record and file the results in the Personnel Security file system of record.

  • Immediately after the exam, report any areas of concern to the Quality Control Examiner (QCE) and apply the guidance provided by the QCE.

  • Conduct a minimum of two CSP exams per eight hours of work scheduled or one ESS exam per eight hours of work scheduled, unless directed otherwise by the QCE.

  • Assist in execution of the client’s polygraph program in accordance with DoD and IC policies and regulations.

  • Demonstrated expertise conducting and administering CI scope polygraph examinations and ESS polygraph examinations to military, civilian and contractor personnel in accordance with customer’s policies, regulations, and operating instructions.

  • Proven expertise preparing, submitting, and maintaining clear comprehensive concise and accurate polygraph charts and test results according to Federal regulations.

  • Proficient at making the necessary data entry of polygraph documentation as required by regulations and customer’s policies.

  • Experience delivering the polygraph examination report in the format prescribed, in a logically, articulate fashion, that accurately documents the results and admissions of each polygraph examination administered by the end of each day the exam was conducted.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

  • Excellent customer service skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Proven communication skills – verbal, written and listening.

  • Excellent attention to detail skills.

  • Able to work effectively according to a schedule and with minimal to no direction.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within related field.

  • At least 11 years of relevant experience

  • Must currently possess a TS/SCI security Clearance and be able to obtain a polygraph level clearance after hire.

  • Must have and maintain Federal Polygraph Certification.

Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
