Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Staff Officer to join our team! In this role you will get to support the agency’s business support operations, and the programs necessary for FM. The employee shall provide specialized support to FM offices and programs, working on multiple projects with varying deadlines under fast-paced conditions, and possess the ability to adjust working hours as necessary to accomplish the mission.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist in identifying deliverables arising from meetings and working with appropriate stakeholders to document those deliverables in a complex, fast‐paced environment.

  • Assist in developing and delivering reports and standardizing data capture regarding NGA decision and information meetings utilizing web capabilities to the maximum level possible.

  • Provide advice about governance and decision management processes to stakeholders.

  • Interface with agency stakeholders to collect all relevant information pursuant to NGA decisions.

  • Support metrics collection, assessments of performance measures; communication plan, and periodically update procedures.

  • Review decision memos to be sure they have sufficient detail for standardized data capture.

  • Identify and track Decision Meeting actions and coordinate as needed with stakeholders to ensure successful execution of meetings.

  • Monitor the daily office schedule, update conference room calendars, provide technical support for meetings, to include set up/schedule teleconferences, video teleconferences, and briefings as appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active TS/SCI and ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.

  • Demonstrated experience in strategic communications, managing complex and disparate datasets and leveraging them to understand trends and make predictions.

  • Demonstrated experience in staff officer work.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated editorial skills, including synthesizing disparate and often conflicting information into cohesive documents or briefing materials.

  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint software.

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree and 11+ years in a related field, or equivalent experience (19+ years) within a related field in lieu of a degree.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience tracking and managing formal taskers in a task-management system.

  • Demonstrated experience providing support in staffing correspondence, managing calendars, and preparing read‐ahead materials to senior executives, such as General/Flag Officers, Civilian SESs, or corporate equivalents.

Salary Range:

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
