Multimedia Services Expert (GIS)

Location(s): USA St. Louis, MO / Arnold, MO Area(s)

Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI Security Clearance

In this role you will collect and document GEOINT data sources, conduct analysis and produce multimedia products (written, verbal, briefings) that convey vital information to combat command a national level intelligence community decision makers. Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your advanced technical knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunity for advancement with top performance. Description:

  • Utilize Custom Media Generation System (CMGS), Tailored Media Generation System (TMGS) and STIL Media Services functions as it pertains to data dissemination processes.

  • Support the connection of web applications to databases, database administration and database systems (i.e. CMGS Website, HTML, Access, Excel, MoW, Oracle).

  • Serve as the Senior Technical POC for Custom Media Services Branch and system administrator for the Team’s various production systems.

  • Utilize current geospatial-intelligence products, image flow, and conducting media transfers.

  • Analyze and incorporate GEOINT products and data, satellite imagery systems and related information libraries.

  • Assist customers with geospatial intelligence request for data (i.e. Falconview, Global Mapper, ArcGIS, GDP, Raster Roam, GVS, MoW).

  • Provide high quality customer service support activities across organizational elements. Identify & recommend areas for process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is desired, but equivalent experience will be considered.

  • 15+ years of experience in related field.

  • Active TS/SCI Security clearance is required.

  • Background as an Visual Information Specialist, Data Visualization Specialist, or experience. importing/manipulating GIS databases.

  • Knowledgeable in Python and/or other object-oriented programming (OOP) languages.

  • Excellent briefing skills and ability to advise and take direction from Senior Leadership & Stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Graduate degree in related field, but equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Experience with Custom Media Generation System (CMGS), Tailored Media Generation System (TMGS) and STIL Media Services functions as it pertains to data dissemination processes.

  • Understanding Agency’s mission partners, military services, COCOMs, and Intelligence Community.

  • Knowledge of satellite imagery systems and related information libraries.

  • Ability to use collaboration/social software tools (i.e. SharePoint, IC Connect, Cisco Jabber to lead and collaborate with interdisciplinary Teams.

  • Experience with open source research.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing stakeholders needs/ requirements. Engage with customers to further define business/ product requirements to ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations.

  • Certification(s) in Python or other programming languages (preferred, but not required).

  • Local or willing to relocate to St. Louis, MO within 2-3 weeks. This is an onsite position. #CJ

Salary Range:

$92,200.00 - $161,400.00
