Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Biometric Training Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to provide training for biometric programs for the US Coast Guard .
Work will be preformed in Portsmouth, VA.
What You'll Be Doing:
Conduct training on biometric devices/programs emphasizing best practices and lessons learned.
Evaluate training needs and effectiveness.
Provide skills gap analyses and deliver performance reports.
Maintain training materials to include hard copy guides, quick reference videos on devices, training videos, presentations, and exam questions.
Serve as an alternate manager providing USCG senior leadership overview of Javelin MDM and Ares Gateway, generating reports as required.
Develop, update, and conduct system verification testing of all devices, servers, and applications for the USCG.
Draft, update, and deliver training and test reports and related content to assist operators with identifying and implementing program improvements.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor Degree with 5-10 years of Training and Development experience or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
3-5 years experience with instructional design.

Effective interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to handle a wide variety of sensitive situations.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) with all levels of employees and managers on issues pertaining to assigned area of responsibility.
Ability to clearly articulate the application of relevant laws and regulations, as well as principles and policies related to area of responsibility, and provide appropriate guidance to managers.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential assignments and work in a fast-paced, highly-visible environment.
Mastery of software required for related work assignments.
