Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a talented Program Invoicing Specialist to join our team!
What You Will Be Doing With US:
Coordinate and manage the monthly invoice process for various contract types (e.g., fixed fee, time and materials, etc.)
Establish communication tools and methods with multiple Project Managers, Billing Coordinators, and Financial Specialists to prepare, review distribute, revise, coordinates approval process, and finalize invoices for all contract types
Ensure monthly invoices are submitted to client by a preestablished due date
Work with project staff to ensure that bills are processed as quickly as possible, following up on needed approvals to finalize bills
Establish Excel based invoices and labor reports in client prescribed formats (these invoices often require the development and maintenance of automated spreadsheets to prompt the user for required information)
Perform quality control reviews to ensure invoices and related coordinating spreadsheet packages are consistent across the program and meet client contract requirements and expectations. This includes a detailed review of invoice backup to ensure receipts are available for each billed expense, obtaining any that are missing, reviewing billed expenses to ensure consistency with contract billing requirements.
Establish procedures, routines, and related documentation regarding billing and contract maintenance
Troubleshoot billing errors, reconciling differences between billed and cost amounts
Perform quality control reviews for new project proposals and amendments for existing projects to ensure consistency with contract requirements
Prepare quarterly and annual employment reports
Train and/or mentor to other team members as needed.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
What We Need from You:
US Citizenship with the ability to obtain clearance
Associate's or equivalent degree in ACCOUNTING (or equivalent)
6+ years of related experience
3+ years of Billing experience
Understanding of the budget and client invoicing process, as well as comprehensive knowledge of MS Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Demonstrate strategic and critical thinking problem solving skills
Proven written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required, as well as a thorough knowledge of contract provisions regarding client invoicing and payment processes
Affinity for detail, accuracy, completeness when conducting quality control checks
Self-motivated and disciplined character traits to maintain invoicing schedule

Salary Range:
$24.18 - $42.31
