Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Director Infrastructure Special Projects for upcoming potential opportunity in Northwest Saudi Arabia. We are in the process of building a world-class team that will deliver multiple key infrastructure projects within the scope of this PMC, including roads, highways, interchanges, bridges, tunnels, water infrastructure, special projects assets, and PPP residential accommodation camps. In this role you will provide direction and management for development, design and construction phases of large projects or programs to assure on-schedule completion within or below budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.
What You'll Be Doing:
Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or subtask.
Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected suppliers during the program execution. Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client. Assists business development in understanding client issues and business plans in order to market and secure new/additional work.
Promotes technical excellence on the project, including furtherance of the Quality Improvement Process.
Mobilizes Company resources, through effective liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths. Provides input to performance reviews and development plans for subordinates.
Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.
May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required.
Works with the key project staff, consultants, contractors and subcontractors to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work.
Completes other responsibilities associated with the position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Must hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent from a recognized university.
Master’s Degree is preferred.
Chartered Engineer status is ideal.
Minimum 25 years of experience in Management projects.
Has good background in strategy and engineering experience in the airports industry or infrastructure industry and has construction management experience on mega projects.
Aviation experience is required related to managing the construction of airport airfield infrastructure.
GCC experience is preferred.
Must have experience at senior management level as well as having extensive experience in client facing roles.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of support function problems
Ability to function in a multi-organizational environment by developing relationships that complies with the client’s proactive, collaborative culture
