About the Role:
Parsons Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineering Manager to contribute to the groundbreaking NEOM THE LINE project. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of structural engineering principles, advanced analysis techniques, and a passion for innovative, sustainable design.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and oversight for all structural engineering activities, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
Lead the development of innovative structural solutions, considering factors such as aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.
Oversee the design, review, and approval of structural engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Project Management:
Manage the structural engineering team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, construction teams, and client representatives to ensure seamless integration of structural systems.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Quality Assurance:
Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address potential issues.
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the structural engineering team.
Client Relations:
Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Represent Parsons at project meetings and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
Minimum of 25 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
In-depth knowledge of structural analysis and design software, such as ETABS, SAP2000, and STAAD.Pro.
Experience in the design of various structural systems, including steel, concrete, and composite structures.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
