Parsons Corporation Engineering Technician I in Tinker AFB, Oklahoma

Parsons is now hiring Technicians with a desire to work in a support role alongside the Project Manager on Tinker Air Force Utility Projects that enhance the fabric of the Base.

In this role you will: perform a variety of routine tasks in support of the professional staff within the assigned unit. Your work assignments may be in the office and/or at field sites. Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your experience will propel your career and opportunities forward. We need our Technicians to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environments that have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine and occasionally heavy labor tasks related to Base Utility meter reading and data organization and Quality Control.

  • May collect samples and maintain documentation in record logs.

  • Maintains appropriate logs of activities.

  • Assists in testing, calibrating, repairing, and modifying control and instrumentation systems at onsite locations.

  • Assists in preparing required field and office reports of various activities and findings.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology or related field, (or equivalent related training/certification if applicable).

  • Typically 2+ years experience.

  • Aptitude to learn fundamental tasks and testing techniques related to operations.
