Parsons is now hiring an Civil/Transportation Engineer or Planner with experience and desire to work on rail and transit infrastructure and operations projects that change the fabric of our community. Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your engineering knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunity for advancement with top performance.

In this role you can expect to complete a wide variety of planning and engineering assignments including:

  • Environmental Assessments - Transit Project Assessment Process (TPAP)

  • BRT and LRT Concept and Alignment Design (Feasibility Studies and Preliminary Design)

  • Feasibility Studies - Transit focused

  • Rail Design (Concept, Preliminary, Detailed)

  • Business Development (Proposal Development)

  • General Project Support

Still interested? You'll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Planning (or related field) and 3+ years of related work experience; P.Eng. is a strong asset.

  • Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.

  • Experience working on rail & transit infrastructure projects as well as transit project planning skillset preferred.

  • Experience working with Metrolinx/TTC is an asset.

  • Transportation design software knowledge (AutoCAD Civil3D and/or Microstation).
