Parsons seeks an experienced aerospace, mechanical or systems engineer with the desire to engage a lean team, Government and industry stakeholders in the small satellite domain to manage the integration of a multi-manifest payload carrier onto a National Security Space Launch system.
The successful integrator/manager will interact with small satellite stakeholders, with U.S. Government program office staff, and with industry representatives to plan and execute the integration of one or more small satellites onto a launch system while meeting cost, schedule, and do-no-harm expectations. You will support the program from Parsons' systems integration facility in Torrance, California on a full-time basis and should expect to travel to launch services provider, small spacecraft builder(s), and launch site locations during the integration and launch campaign efforts. You will have responsibility for delivery of the integration products and the multi-manifest payload carrier hardware that will be employed on the flight.

The successful candidate will have experience in the spacecraft or launch integration domain on commercial or U.S. Government programs and will likely have supported prior integration efforts as an engineer or analyst developing integration products or producing verification packages to support confirming compatibility between the spacecraft and launch system. Candidate will demonstrate strong systems level engineering and organizational skills, in pursuit of qualification of additional mission set packages for launch. Strong communications and engagement skills are imperative. Minimum qualifications include a BS degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or other STEM degree, with demonstrated experience in this mission domain. Travel up to 25% possible with expectation of support to the launch campaign at a CONUS launch site as the system approached launch. Candidate will be capable of acquiring a Top Secret/SSBI security clearance. Existing or recent clearance a strong advantage; ability to acquire a TS/SCI clearance also likely. Minimum ten (10) years' experience in government or industry supporting space, aerospace, or related defense programs.
