Marine Inspector (Civil)
Abu Dhabi
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Marine Inspector (Civil) to join our team! In this position you will get to fill a key inspection role on a dynamic construction supervision team tasked with managing the construction of a major development in Abu Dhabi.
What You'll Be Doing:
Inspect site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed permanent works.
Give practical advice on constructional matters.
Inspect construction, including temporary, works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
Maintain records of inspections, work executed, etc.
Direct Inspectors and ensure performance.
Assist in or measure work done when required.
Observe site safety procedures.
Assist in preparation of “as-built” drawings.
Assist with inspection of completed works, prepare sang lists and handover to operating authority.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Civil or Geotechnical Engineering is preferred. BSc Engineering degree or similar construction related degree with 5+ years of professional experience in relation to Marine industry .
Knowledge of Single / Multi beam would be an added advantage.
Software Skills: Microsoft Office 365, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, SharePoint, Aconex.
Communication Skills: English – written and spoken high proficiency
Analysis and problem Solving Skills.
Creativity and Innovation.
Presentation Skills.
