Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Coastal Project Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to work on a variety of coasting engineering challenges on a major civil marine project in the United Arab Emirates .

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform coastal engineering analyses and designs through the application of coastal theory

• Prioritize and accomplish multiple assignments efficiently and effectively with limited supervision

• Organize and interpret engineering data to prepare clear and concise engineering reports and technical documentation

• Assist in obtaining Relevant Authority project permits and perform compliance monitoring for permits (marine specific stakeholder management)

• Review and comment on project construction plans and specifications

• Perform project construction observations, interpret contract documents, enforce contract specifications, and review submittals for accuracy, completeness and design consistency

• Ensure conformance to applicable engineering codes and standards as well as company policies and procedures

• Communicate with co-workers and clients in a professional manner including during meetings and presentations

• Completes additional duties as assigned.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• BS degree in Coastal Engineering, plus 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.

• AutoCAD, MS 365 proficiency

• Good communication skills in the English Language are expected.

• Possess strong technical and analytical skills

• Previous Marine Experience (5 years minimum)

• Advanced Knowledge of Marine Industry means and methods for civil engineering

• Advanced Knowledge of Marine Edge Engineering

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Masters Degree in Coastal Engineering Preferred

• Aconex Experience Preferred

• Reclamation, Quay Wall, Beach Formation, and Rock Revetment Experience is Required

• Previous Experience in the MENA region on a Marine Project
