Design Review Engineer - Structural (Bridges/Underpasses)

Abu Dhabi

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Design Review Engineer - Structural (Bridges/Underpasses) to join our team! In this role you will get to review engineering drawings related to structural element of bridges and underpasses.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design and lays out complete system and components of project with all related facilities , including design elements for which there may be no clearly established precedents

• Utilizes good judgment and prior experience , anticipates problems at the outset, and provide solutions.

• Does front end layout and design of complex system and equipment as applicable to the respective discipline

• provides for compliance with items such as specifications , tolerances safety factors and reequipments of client

• performs specialized design computations and analysis within a given discipline

• Serves as a unit leader on a project , ensuring compliance with industry codes project and company standards.

• performs interdisciplinary reviews and provides coordinating data to ensure a compatible design .

• Gives lead direction to a team of checking personnel ensuring the mathematical accuracy of the drawings produced

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil /Structural engineering or equivalent .

• Min 10 years Proficient experience in Structural projects involving design and construction works with knowledge of codes, design manuals and construction practices.

• Experience in design review for bridges, underpasses .

• Must have a sound knowledge about contractual relationships.

• Equivalency certificate from UAE-MOE .

• ADM approval preferred.

• Have a proactive and problem solving personality.

• Good communication and coordination skills
