Parsons Corporation Senior Project Manager - O&M and CMO in United Arab Emirates
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented S enior Project Manager – Operation & Maintenance, Community Management and Logistics and Security Teams to join our team! In this role you will lead a team of Consultants, Contractors, Project Managers and report to the Project Director.
What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Program Director.
Close coordination with Client and its representatives.
Senior Project Manager for overall coordination, comprehensive monitoring and management of the O&M activities, infrastructure, and utility elements of the project.
Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings in support of client.
Oversee the annual O&M plans, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other contract documents as required.
Establishes the O&M implementation requirements, for all areas of assigned projects, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to those criteria.
Responsible for the development and distribution of Project Charters, for assigned projects, to all members of the project team for reference.
Work with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of assigned projects. Ensures that assigned projects meet or exceed goals established in these plans.
Work with the key project individuals to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential conflicts, coordination issues, delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work. Advise the client of any such changes.
Promote technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes & KPI implementation.
Monitor and report to management on the progress of all project activities within the assigned projects, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
Establish Weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items for assigned projects.
Reporting of projects progress status.
Interface with Master Planning, Engineering, Procurement, F&B, Network Operators, and all other stakeholders, to define the technical design basis, schedule, development Implementation plan, lead efforts, of RFP development, tender bidding, and award, and manage the overall Pre-Award RFP development process and Stakeholders Management, up to and including Award of the project.
Lead and manage the Community Operation & Maintenance Contractors’ Works, Management Office and Logistics and Security Teams.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related subject.
Minimum of 20 years of experience working within the industry (GCC).
Ability to perform the major activities in the job description while demonstrating evidence of the following:
Past performance and growth within technical, fiscal, and management responsibilities within the engineering field.
Superior initiative, judgement, and ability required to assume the total Leadership of a complete Large-scale program.
Personal characteristics which will enhance the client relationship while remaining an ambassador for the company.
In-depth and strong knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required.
Candidate must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.
Excellent spoken and written English & Arabic language skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
Excellent presentation skills with ability to work on enhancement concepts to O&M.
Professional Registration (PE or PMP) is a significant advantage.
In addition, must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project such as ERP, ACONEX, MAXIMO, FSI Etc.
