Parsons is now hiring an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to support
Projects for our road & highway and water resources practices . We are
Seeking an experienced professional with 5 years or more experience in the field and preferably a registered PE.
This role is based in the Bay Area, with hybrid remote work allowed ( 1-2 days weekly from home
Perform complex engineering tasks and particularly engineering and calculation efficiently and accurately.
Perform underground structure soil-structure interaction (SSI) analyses.
Detailed checking of design calculations performed by others.
Develop structural details and construction plans using Microstation or AutoCAD.
Prepare of geometric layouts, construction specifications and material quantity calculations.
Supervise and provide guidance and direction to lower-level engineers and CAD Designers performing the above tasks.

Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients and other stakeholders. Basic Qualifications:
5 years minimum of geotechnical, support of excavation and/or tunnel design work experiences
BS in Civil Engineering with geotechnical emphasis is required
MS in Geotechnical Engineering preferred
California Professional Engineer (PE) highly preferred, and Geotechnical Engineer (GE) license preferred
Efficient in geotechnical design software and 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional finite element analyses (Geostudio, Proshake, GeoMotions, Plaxis and/or others)
Good working knowledge of MS Office, and AutoCAD or Microstation Attachments
