Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will lead or support challenging and complex projects for transportation agencies in the Washington, DC metro area.
What You'll Be Doing:
Ensuring on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations
Managing delivering the scope and the commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives
Planning and defining program goals and devising methods to accomplish them
Representing Parsons to the client and subcontractors
Submitting monthly reports to the client and responding to client issues
Developing project management plans, project safety plans, project quality plans, and systems integration plans
Supporting pricing and contract change negotiations with the client and subconsultants
Coordinating with other managers to mobilize resources to build capable and effective project teams
Working with key project individuals to identify potential cost or schedule overruns and developing and executing recovery plans
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, planning, or a related field
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
15+ years of related work experience
Project management experience on transportation or related projects
Broad general technical and business background
Understanding of procurement policies and processes
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience in alternative project delivery methods (e.g., phased progressive design build)
Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
Experience in risk assessment and management
Construction management experience
Knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on projects

Salary Range:
$121,900.00 - $219,400.00
