Duties and Responsibilities:

Social Media Analyst and Planner: Must have 6 years relevant experience or more supporting senior military leadership in the areas of engagement plans, engagement strategies, and outreach policies for HQDA, ACOMs or ASCCs. Must have demonstrated ability to manage, collect and analyze output from a wide range of social media outlets to develop themes and messages as well as a variety of media products to support internal and external Army strategic engagement initiatives. Must have demonstrated ability to develop original products and edit contributed works for web-based distribution. Prefer four or more years of experience in evaluating invitations received by General Officers and Senior Executives for relevance to engagement plan, adherence to policy, and ability to coordinate desired engagements. Must have demonstrated ability to provide quick reaction support to unplanned actions and activities. Must have experience in producing briefings and supporting materials as necessary. Must be highly proficient in using software platforms such as, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, SlideShare, Flickr, YouTube, and SharePoint, as well as analyzing information using tools such as Google Analytics and HootSuite. Other responsibilities as may be appropriate for this position. Work location is Washington DC/Arlington, VA.

Qualifications:

·4 year Degree in related technical/business field and

·15+ years of related work experience is required.

·6 years relevant experience or more supporting senior military leadership in the areas of engagement plans, engagement strategies, and outreach policies for HQDA, ACOMs or ASCCs. Sergeant Major Academy Graduate, Command and General Staff College (CGSC)/Intermediate Level Education(ILE) Graduate or Equivalent preferred.

Special Job Requirements:

·Demonstrated ability to manage, collect and analyze output from a wide range of social media outlets to develop themes and messages as well as a variety of media products to support internal and external Army strategic engagement initiatives.

·Ability to develop original products and edit contributed works for web-based distribution.

·Must be US Citizen and possess and maintain secret eligibility.

·Must be highly proficient in using software platforms such as, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, SlideShare, Flickr, YouTube, and SharePoint, as well as analyzing information using tools such as:Gmail Accounts,HootSuite,TweetDeck,TweetReach, RoundTeam,Hashtagify.me,Twitter Analytics,Twubs,Google Analytics,Meltwater, ARCIC Public Website Development, Content reporting, Staging, Production, search, metrics and compliance,SEM,DVS VTC Scheduling,DefenseImagery.mil,DoD Imagery Server,Defense Video and Imagery Distribution System (DVIDS)
