Position Overview

The Chief Ethics and Compliance Counsel is the architect and steward of the ethics and compliance strategy, structure and processes. The successful candidate will develop and manage ethics and compliance programs and identify and evaluate compliance issues and concerns within the organization. The position ensures compliance with applicable external laws and regulations; internal policies and procedures and the Code of Business Conduct and Parsons’ ethics policies (including FCPA) through oversight and management, investigations, policy development, training and third party anti-bribery due diligence. The position has one direct report who oversees the company’s trade compliance programs.

The position can be based in our Pasadena, CA headquarters, or one of our Washington DC Metro area offices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, fully accredited by the American Bar Association

  • Licensed to practice law in good standing with the bar of at least one state, willing and able to become licensed in other states as needed.

  • JD degree and 10 to 15 years of ethics and compliance experience in corporate law and/or a major law firm.

  • ITAR experience a plus
