Job Description:
Parsons is engaged on numerous transit projects in the Greater Toronto Region and we are always adding to our team due to program extensions, and new projects.

We are looking for an Traffic engineers to deliver their expertise by:
Assisting Segment Leads in providing discipline specific guidance and support to Intermediate and Junior Engineers / Site Monitors in the performance of daily work activities, including audit and non-conformance reporting;
Developing a risk-based Discipline Audit Plan and participate in development of risk-based multidisciplinary Segment Audit Plans with the Segment Leads in order to prioritize construction activities for monitoring and/or auditing;
Compiling auditing and non-conformance records and provide a discipline specific opinion of contractor compliance with the terms of their contract;
Visiting the locations of ongoing work on site as required to monitor activities on site and collect information and photographs of the work;
Notifying Segment Leads and Field Services management, by exception, of any issues or concerns as soon as they are identified; and
Providing input as required for a monthly report to Metrolinx.
Monitor Road closure and record of Business Door closure
Familiar with Book 7 and City permitting.
Still interested? You'll have:
Demonstrated experience with construction drawings and site work;
Demonstrated experience in construction quality control and reporting;
Demonstrated experience in Design-Build or AFP delivered projects;
Sound judgement; effective organizational, analytical and problem solving skills; strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including technical report writing skills;
Ability to work with multi-discipline technical teams and maintain effective working relationships;
Working knowledge of personal computers and computerized applications related to the work;
Ability to attend project sites, public meetings, etc.
Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar capacity.
