Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented full-time Software Developer to join our team to support our customer at the Air Force Research Laboratory located at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The Software Developer’s primary function will be to support the development of Multi-Domain Analysis Development and Evaluation while supporting SLAKE.
What You’ll Be Doing
Support the development of Multi-Domain Analysis Development and Evaluation (MAD-E)
Write, evaluate, and integrate code and interfaces into the MAD-E baseline and other programs as deemed necessary
Code algorithms and develop software interfaces within Python
Create/edit/review interface software which will:
Identify/manipulate relevant parameters within big datasets (UNCLASS AND CLASSIFIED)
Use existing interface architecture relevance based on Subject Matter Expert (SME) opinion
Utilize kinematics knowledge and develop relevant code
Develop algorithms, capabilities and interfaces for near-real time assessment of data sets to be ingestible by and interoperable with the Insight architecture
Develop a capability to verify a dataset of interest was properly assessed and ingested
Write and present technical reports on development activities
Write technical documentation supporting code, program capabilities and “how to” guides
Attend meetings and/or demonstrations, alone or with a team
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
Must be a US citizen
Must have an active TS with SCI eligibility
Minimum 5-10 Years’ software development experience required
Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, information systems or related field
Proficient in Python, UNIX/LINUX, Java, C++; I/F development, emphasis on Python
Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, KSS)
Possess a baseline knowledge of kinematics
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring
Experience with sensor data (GEOINT, SIGINT) and big data sets
Experience with technical writing/documentation, able to interpret and create technical documentation
Experience with modular and distributed programming
Familiarity with Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket, Jenkins
Demonstrated experience with system testing skills; highly desired

Salary Range:
$92,200.00 - $161,400.00
