Job Description:

In this role, under minimal supervision, you will perform a variety of nonroutine tasks in support of the mine remediation project. Work assignments may be in the office and/or at field sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Office administrative duties

  • Collects samples and maintains documentation in record logs

  • Inspecting work areas for environmental regulatory compliance daily and weekly

  • Conducting a monthly regulatory audit of subcontractors and work activities (desktop and field audit)

  • Communicating corrective actions to subcontractors

  • Overseeing construction and sampling activities daily

  • Review of subcontractor environmental submittals

  • Maintaining environmental information logs

  • Compiling monthly data and preparation of monthly summary report

  • Must have a valid drivers license and capable of driving light duty vehicles (truck/van)

  • Prepares standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related field from an accredited institution3+ years of related work experienceEngineer inTraining (EIT) Certificate may be requiredWorking knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineeringKnowledge of office automation products, and ability to create and manipulate databases
